About Vertigo Trivia
Fun for Absolutely Everyone.
This site was launched May 3rd, 2020 as a response to the need for digital programming. The trivia games on this site are geared towards groups and can be run virtually through any online meetup service that allows screen sharing (like Zoom). The best part is that when it is safe to have large gatherings, the presentations for sale transition perfectly.
The trivia games are ideal for:
- School Groups
- Office Team Building
- Those that want to offer a fun game without the time consuming preparation and graphic design elements
Vertigo Trivia is a small gig-based game originally meant for the pub trivia scene as well as private events at libraries, office parties, and conventions. When COVID-19 brought live events to a screeching halt, like so many businesses Vertigo Trivia had to evolve. Now Vertigo Trivia will offer games to be used in virtual events - or when the time comes - live shows as well. The content is created by someone who has worked in libraries for over twenty years and knows what works (and what doesn't!) with events of all sizes.
The fun-loving owner, Daniel Barbour (left) worked for eleven years as a full-time Young Adult Librarian at the Shrewsbury Public Library in Shrewsbury, MA. He also appeared on the second season of the ABC network reality show I Survived a Japanese Game Show - proving he'll do anything to showcase how much fun libraries are! He is now working as a full-time Circulation Supervisor in a public library in Massachusetts, and is now dedicating time to help colleagues and patrons have fun in the age of social distancing.
Past Gig Locations Included:
- The Mendon Public Library
- The Framingham Public Library (Special Comic-Con Show)
- The Oxford Public Library
- The Clinton Public Library
- The Hudson Public Library (See coverage)
